I attended the Florida Conference for Women on Tuesday and had an amazing day. Amazing speakers, amazing friends from Twitter that I got to hang out with. I love attending conferences (free) because I learn a lot and then I can impart my wisdom on my blogs!
One thing I was excited about was meeting Elsa Melendez, the winner from my ticket giveaway. She was so excited to be there (and it was the day before her birthday!).

It was a day well spent. I’m so happy so many women in Florida came to learn and meet one another. And thank you, Florida Conference for Women, for sending me, Elsa, and the others.

awwwww! dang I just read this now! I was really excited to meet you and the other ladies… up until the night before, I kid you not, I was thinking of excuses NOT to go (can you believe that?)… and I am glad I went, very glad.
Before even going into the conference I ran into my Avon District Manager (I sell Avon as a part time gig). Then as I walked around, I recognized Melanie (Modern Mami) and little by little everyone showed up (including you) and between motivating, inspirational and funny speeches, I got to meet all of you.
