Happiness is Relative

I’ve been really happy this week. We finally found a huge, wonderful, funky house in Hot Springs to rent and will be moving in this week. We’ve found fun, retro furniture for cheap, and friends and family are helping Max and I make this our new home.

I’ve been getting a ton of business, so right now (just right now) I don’t have financial worries.

Life is good.

But then I remember why we’re here. Then it feels weird to be happy. Because, of course, I’m not. I want my life and my family back. But that’s down the road a bit. I want to allow myself happiness for what it’s worth, in this moment. And that’s ok.

PS In the new house I’m going to have a meditation room. Very excited about that. Just a place where I can relax or read, do yoga or meditate. All for me. :)
