Places I Love
I realized I never got around to giving you the grand tour of my home. There are some things I just truly love that I want to share.
My Office

I got an old fashioned desk. It’s not a rolltop but the lid folds up and closes. I got tired of the particle board crap I pay too much for at Office Depot.
I don’t like the wood paneling in my office, but it’s in the back of the house, so it separates me from the “life” portion of my work/life balance.
It’s even got its own bathroom! Bonus!
Max’s Playroom
Max has this neat play area in addition to his room. It’s just outside my office. He’s set up a secret hidey hole, as you can see from the photo.
My Dining Room Window

I’m a little embarrassed to say it, but this weird window in between my kitchen and dining room is really what sold me on the house. I guess you’d call it a pass-through, except the sink keeps you from really being able to reach through. I put my spices in it and peek at Max.
My Retro Table
I love my dining room table. I will love it more when I find 4 retro red vinyl w/ sparkles dining chairs. Know of any??
I also have a meditation room but didn’t have a photo of it.

That desk is awesome! And the ‘weird window’ is totally cool!
Found these for your table, but not sure if that’s what you have in mind:

Lots of barstools, too, but probably too high for a regular table. :/ The tabletop is lovely, though.
Thanks for the tour!

Tracy–
Thanks for the link. That’s basically what I’m looking for, but for $100+ per chair (I need 4) they’re out of my price range!
