Max has been a lucky boy this year. Because we took a 3 day road trip from Florida to Mississippi to Arkansas to Missouri to see family, he’s had 5 Christmases in total. So now that the actual day has passed, he asked, “When can we open more presents? When can Santa come back?” Oh, son.

I love, absolutely love watching him get excited over presents. Even the ones I really, really, really did not want Santa to buy (Pixos are the devil). I want to savor this time, because one day too soon, he’ll be a teenager like my nephews and want only money for the holidays before he crawls back in bed.
