We Saw a Rocket Ship

RSS FeedI realize not everyone gets to experience seeing a space shuttle take off from its launch pad. When my friend Rachel was here, we decided to go to Titusville (right next to Cape Canaveral) to watch the Discover take off.
Here’s Max getting excited beforehand.
And the actual launch.
The drive home, which should have taken 30 minutes, took 2 hours. Thank goodness we don’t need to do that again!
